Current apprentices

It takes a lot of work to make this farm run well.  We appreciate our apprentices, so we think you'd like to know a bit about where they come from and where they might be going--in all senses of the word!

Say "Hello" when you see them at the farm!

 

Here is the first of our five apprentices (either vegetable or dairy/livestock) to arrive for the upcoming 2016 season.

Ross Hall takes a friendly picture with Val, one of our Katahdin rams  Ross hails from Belmont, MA and recently graduated from UMASS Amherst with a degree in philosophy.  He'll be here for the season honing a multitude of essential farm (and life) skills learning to work with our diverse group of grazing and foraging farm animals.

 

     Lydia Hendrickson (dairy/livestock apprentice 2016)

Lydia Hendrickson is delighted to join us all the way from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to snuggling lambs, she will be working with the diversity of animals on the farm, and learning how to make delicious cheese.
