CSA Membership

How our CSA Membership works:

We don't charge a fixed amount for membership and members take the produce and milk according to their needs. This is different from most other CSA's which sell a share in the harvest and then give out a fixed portion of produce.

Each year in order to give prospective members an idea of what the operating expenses of the farm will be we present a budget and divide it by the number of adults who are joining and then come up with a figure per adult per month that is the average that is needed to meet the farm budget. Members then take into account the farm's needs and their own needs and make a pledge based on all the information. We encourage those who can afford more than the average to pay more so that those who cannot meet the average amount are still able to join.

The average needed for the 2016/2017 season is $125/adult/month and the pledge covers all the vegetables we produce plus up to four gallons of milk per week.

The store is stocked twice a week throughout the year - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  We grow a lot of storage crops that are available through the winter and into the following spring.

We don't divide the vegetables - we set out what has been harvested and each member household takes what they need. If for any reason there is only a small amount of a certain item we indicate the maximum amount that can be taken. On the other hand, if there is a surplus we encourage members to take extra and process the food.

Anything other than vegetables and milk is not part of the pledge and needs to paid for separately. This includes items produced by us, such as eggs, cheeses, yogurt and meat. It also includes items that we buy in such as bread, cookies, maple syrup, dried herbs, herbal teas, tinctures and other items.

Our farm year runs from June 1st to May 31st of the following year.

In June of 2016 we formed the Four Corners Cooperative and Temple Wilton Community Farm is now a part of that organization.

In order to join the CSA prospective members must first join the cooperative. This involves making a one-time payment of $200 that is refundable when you leave the CSA. This payment is separate from the annual CSA pledge.

Produce is picked up at the farm - we do not deliver. This not only encourages community, but you also get to see the farm on a regular basis and follow the seasonal changes among the animals and in the fields.

There is a waiting list and you will need to get your name on the list in order to join. Please call Anthony Graham at 693-654-5751 or email him at agraham@tellink.net if you are interested in joining.

You are also welcome to visit and to purchase any of the items that are not specifically for CSA members.
